One Bible verse for each day, the same for everyone who opens this page on that date. Read it in its chapter, copy it with its reference or turn it into a card.

How the verse of the day is chosen

The verse is worked out from the date alone. The same date always gives the same verse, on any device, without an account and without anything being stored on a server. It comes from the selected verses, the same pool the generator uses by default, so it can be read on its own.

The verse is shown in the translation you have chosen: the BSB, the KJV or the WEB. The context view opens the surrounding chapter, which helps with verses that continue a longer sentence. If you would like a different verse, the generator draws a new one at random.
