Where short verses work well
Short verses are easy to learn by heart and fit on a card, a bookmark, a phone wallpaper or a social media post. Among the shortest are John 11:35, 1 Thessalonians 5:16 and 1 John 4:19.
Length also depends on the translation: the same verse can be a few words shorter in one and longer in another. And even a short verse belongs to a longer passage. The context view shows the verses around it, which is worth a look before a verse goes on a card. The card maker offers square, story and print formats.
