Thanksgiving Bible Verses
Rejoice at all times. Pray without ceasing. Give thanks in every circumstance, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.
What to draw from
Bible verses about thanksgiving and gratitude, for Thanksgiving Day, a family meal, a card or a time of prayer. Many come from the Psalms, such as Psalm 100 and Psalm 107, and from the letters of Paul, such as 1 Thessalonians 5:18. Draw a verse at random or browse the full list.
Verses for the table and for cards
Some families read a short verse before a holiday meal; others write one on a card or a place card. Psalm 136 repeats the same line in every verse and lends itself to reading aloud in turns. If you need a verse that fits on a small card, the length filter limits the draw to short verses. Each verse can also be opened with the verses around it, so you can choose a longer passage instead.
